Church






This church was made for my buddy Char :o)


This tutorial was written for PSP 7
It can be easily done in other versions of PSP.
If you have a problem, please let me know.

It uses selections. You may download the zip- file for the selections here.
The zip with the other supplies
here.


Save the selections to your selections folder in PSP.
Save your supplies in a folder and open them as needed.

Open a new image 800 by 600. This is large but we will resize it when we are done.


Put everything on it's own layer


1. Load from disk "middle section" and flood fill with brick pattern at 100%.
Go to "Effects" "inner bevel" and use the "soft edge" preset.


2. Load from disk "roof". Flood fill with the roof pattern at 100%.
Go to "Effects" "cutout" and use these settings- ver 3, hor 3, opacity 60, blur 20.


2 b. Load from disk "roof trim" and fill with color #705B45.
Go to "Texture Effect" "texture" and use the paper preset.
Next go to "Effects" "Inner bevel" and use the round preset, but change the width to 4.


3. Load from disk "foundation". Flood fill with #CDBFB2.
Go to "Texture effect" "texture" and use the stucco preset, but change the size to 30.
Go to "Effects" "Drop shadow" and use these settings- ver & hor 5, opa.100, blur 30, color black.


4. Load from disk "sides". Flood fill with brick at 80%.
Go to "Effects" "Inner bevel" and use the round preset but change the width to 4.


5. Load from disk "front porch". Flood fill with #CDBFB2.
Go to "Effects" "inner bevel" and use the soft edge preset.
Go to "Effects" "Noise" add 10%.


6. Load from disk "Front". Flood fill with brick fill at 100%.
Apply the "soft edge" inner bevel, but change size to 4.
Go to drop shadow and use these settings. ver and hor 4, op 60, blur 27.1


7. Load from disk "small window center". Flood fill with pattern glass at 100%.


8. Load from disk "inside window frame". Flood fill with color #644F39.
Go to "Effects" "inner bevel" round preset, but change the width to 9.


9. Load from disk "small frames windows". Flood fill with color #644F39.
Go to "Effects" "inner bevel" and use the round preset.


10. Load from disk "window bottom section". Flood fill with color #644F39.
Go to "Effects" "inner bevel" and use the soft edge preset.
Go to "texture effects" "blinds" and use these settings-
width 4, opacity 72, color black, light from left top checked.


11. Open psp door and copy and paste as a new layer and line it up.


12. Load from disk "poles". Flood fill with #644F39. Go to texture effect- blinds
and use these setting. width 4, opacity 72, color black, light from let top checked.


13. Load from disk "front middle roof". Flood fill with #644F39. Go to "Effects"
"inner bevel" and use the soft edge preset.
Or you can go use the extra plugin and use the canvas texture.


14. Load from disk "frame front roof". Flood fill with #644F39.
Go to "Effects" "inner bevel" use the round preset but change the width to 4.
Go to Texture effect, blinds use these setting.
width 4, opacity 72, color black, light from left top checked.


15. Load from disk "large window center". Flood fill with glass fill at 100%.


16. Load from disk "large window middle" flood fill with same color.
Go to "Effects" "inner bevel" and apply the round preset.


17. Load from disk "large window frames". Flood fill with same color.
Go to "Effects" "Inner bevel" and apply the round preset but change the width to 8.

17b. Load from disk "large window bottom" flood fill with #705B45.
Go to "inner bevel" and apply the soft edge preset.
Go to "Effects" blinds and use these settings-
width 4 opacity 72 color black light from left top check.


18. Load from disk "top center". Flood fill with glass fill at 100%.


19. Load from disk "round window". Flood fill with glass fill at 80%.


20. Load from disk "top 1" flood fill with brick fill at 50%.
go to "Selection float" then "Effects" "Cutout" and use these settings.
ver 3, hor 3, opacity 60 blur 20.


21 Load from disk "window trim sides". Flood fill with color.
Go to "Effects" "Innner bevel" use the soft edge preset.
Go to "Effects" "blinds" use these setting.
width 4, opacity 72, color black, light from left top checked.


22. Load from disk "step 1" flood fill with #E1D7CC.
Go to "Effects" drop shadow use these setting ver & hor 5, opa.100, blur 30, color black.


23. Load from disk "step 2" finish the same as step 1


24. Load from disk "step 3" finish the same as step1
and then line the step up the way you want them.


25. Load from disk "round frame". Flood fill with color #644F39.
go to "Effects" "inner bevel" and use the round preset.


26. Open up the psp cross and copy and paste it as a new layer.
I used three. Check the sample for placement.
You can use your own cross need to resize
and make 2 small one and one large one


27.Go to layer merge all visible.


28. Go to image resize .Resize 80% make sure both boxes are checked.
Don't forget to go to "Effects" "Sharpen" and sharpen once
before you save it as a tub
